Though we need to improve the non-line based communication in the Village, there are other acceptable options.

The short term financial and potential improved cell service are far outweighed by the damage to the environment, the reduction in market value of real estate which will impact the tax basis of the community, as well as potential health/safety risks to residents. We hope the board respects the opinion of the majority.

The cell tower will damage the community at all level: environmental, health and aesthetic, and real estate value. With other technical solution available for cell phones and a negligible tax benefit, it is impossible to understand the actual motivation of our officials.

I am opposed to the 130 ft tower and the 2500 sq ft of electronic gadgetry at its base, because it's industrial appearance is completely inconsistent with the surrounding community. It will irrevocably damage the value of surrounding homes, and may jeopardize the health of those who live nearby.

This is not safe for the residents in the area and creates an unacceptable health hazard.

Towers do not belong where children live

This is how Old Field is described on the website, “No stoplights, no commercial businesses, just beautiful tree-lined roads and large private lots create a serene and comforting community“. A cell tower has no business being placed in this town. Vote no to the tower! Save Old Field and it’s park!
