One size does not fit all. The State of Utah and the Utah State Charter Board need to remember that different populations require different services. To deny these girls now the educational opportunity to move forward will only result in increased welfare and "safety net" services down the road. Support them now to get them on the right road for the future.

I went to a teen parent school. I got pregnant at 15 and if it was not for that type of school. I would have just dropped out. These types of school are very important to teens to feel comfortable to finish school.

Thus I a wonderful school, it should not be shut down. I have so many friends and so much family you loved this school in their time of need. It helps to have a place where you know you can trust and be loved and supported

It's really helping young teenagers with kids still being successful for her and the child then yes it's helpful and totally useful. I'm glad I'm signing this petition because women deserve this opportunity when it's given.

My sister is a teen mom and goes to this school. It has helped her A LOT to continue school and raise a child at the same time with little to no stress. She should be able to graduate this upcoming school year with kairos and be able to forward in her education. It would be a shame if kairos gets shut down for she will probably not find another school or program that is like kairos that will help her and motivate to graduate. Im all for Kairos and support it cause i have seen and heard wonderful upcoming stories from young teen girls/moms. Please please put yourself in the position that these girls are in and understand that this is one of the only reasons they still continue to go to school.
