I feel that there should be more schools in the world like this to help teen moms fulfill their dreams while helping them aith the things that are hard fof even single moms that are of age. Teen moms need the help and support schools like this one offer them.

We need more schools like this! I was raped and pregnant at 13, stuck between what to do with my child and school I became a 7th grade drop out. I'm now 22 and wish I could have stayed but I had no support in school which set me up for failure at a young age. Instead of ripping dreams away from kids let help achieve them and watch the statistics change

They need specialized services that can be best met by segregating students from mainstream. Please use my name and background in any way you see fit to support this petition.

It really is a sad situation when teens get pregnant and become parents. The best thing for these girls is to get an education. I really hope you consider putting a little extra money into Kairos so these girls. If you don't the chances of them being unemployable and living off of government assistance goes up drastically. I believe if you spend a dime now you will save a dollar later.

As a mental health professional I see the need on a daily basis for programs/schools such as this. Kairos Academy gives teen moms a safe place to complete their education and learn life skills necessary for successful outcomes. I see too many young girls who fall behind in school, drop out, or become suicidal and make attempts on their lives without supportive environments like Kairos.

I was s teen mom in 1989. I got kicked it off Kearns high for being pregnant. Schools like this need to stay open. This is how mom's can succeed.

These girls are trying to make a better life for themselves and the baby. Did they possibly make not so great decision by being pregnant so soon? No, but we do not need to punish them for wanting to continue completing their life goals, and to support that baby to their greatest extent. For some of these girls this is all the support they have, and a little support is a lot better than no support at all through a important time in a life. We need to not be closing these places, but opening more. Don't stop the motivated girls just because they brought life into this world.
