I believe that teen mother's need to be given the opportunity to continue learning, while being given the necessary "tools" to be a nurturing parent. Kairos had the staff to provide an area of learning, growth & acceptance.

I didn't graduate from Karios high but Millcreek which is very similar. I was a teen mother at 16 years old if not for schools like this I would not have been able to finish my high school education and be the bachelor's degree graduate I am today. People really need to stop and think what's really good for the mother's and children. It stops the cycle and helps those girls obtain their education to still have the opportunity to become something.

I am an educator in Salt Lake City and wasn't even aware a charter for teen mothers existed. What a great service for the community. This school deserves more time considering the girls tests scores are not as important as their chance to graduate. These girls are not the normal teenage students. There can be allowances made. Please keep this charter open.

Don't take away someone's right to an education just because you think it's wrong that they had a child at a young age. You'd be ruining the futures of a bunch of families.

Keep this open! This is a resource many young girls need! Just because they have a child at a young age doesn't mean they should have to do everything on their own or have heads turned away in disgust of their actions. If they want to go to this school that means and it also shows they have a desire to rise above and overcome obstacles of being a young parent!!!!

If you are planning on closing down the least that you should do is let the kids that are currently attending graduate and not let anymore students register.
