I went here! Without this school I wouldn't have graduated! Much less continued on to college.. Kairos academy helped me out a lot! And I hope one day to give back to them like they did to me. So I will start with this. Stay open!

I had the privilege of being a part of the Kairos community, and it literally gave me an opportunity to learn from amazing and powerful women about their perseverance and resiliency. Without Kairos, I don't think these young women would be able to achieve their social and academic goals on their own terms. Standardized testing does not prove the hard work and showcase the adversity that these young women have endured. Please reconsider and listen to the stories of how Kairos have impacted the young women who attend the school, but the people in the community who have dedicated their lives and work into creating an equitable place for teenage mothers to have the opportunity to thrive.

Closing the School that is helping so many at risk girls and their babies not be just another statistic, is not the answer. What kind of life are These girls going to give their babies with out an education? Society had already failed them now the board of education wants to fail them also. Shame on you

This is really a supportive place for young mothers probably the ONLY place like this here in salt lake city. Even the little time I had there I was so motivated to do things and it even gave me hope for my educational future. We as young mothers sometimes don't know our resources or where to turn for help. This place taught me all the help I could get and my potential as a young mother. It would be heartbreaking if there was no place to turn for help, resources, motivation and support to continue our education as teenage mother's.
