Used to work at the nursery and it is one of the best! Would be such a shame to close such a treasured nursery

South Essex has an increasing demand for high quality childcare. The closure is not necessary strategically.

This is rediculus and moves further to making education elitist.

Heartbreaking news! It must be kept open for the sake of staff, parents and children.

Sad to lose such a wonderful nursery. All just to gain a small space for more students.

absolute disgrace the only part of the college rated Outstanding by OFSTEAD and they are closing it sheer madness. The senior management should be sacked as they don't seem to know what they are doing.

This is a necessary Nursery for mums at college and others, which I believe is excellent for children.

This is not in families interests, surely we can have education and also offer childcare within the facilitity.

I can't believe the college is considering shutting down an outstanding nursery with a group of amazing staff ! Save Jungle Cats !!!!!!

the most lame excuse ever. There is no need to shut it. It is the only department within the college that is doing really well,

The nursery is handy for staff and students that wish to be nearby their children. Removing the nursery would cause a lot of inconvienence for these people.

My grandson attends this nursery whilst my daughter studies to make a better future for them. To take this option away from them & others is a grave error of judgement, creating job losses and prevents talented individuals from following a path to a better future and does nothing to encourage any new possible students.

My children used to go to the play scheme in the summer holidays and I used to take the nursery payments on a weekly basis as I worked on reception at the college. All the children loved it there and I can honestly say I never ever saw any of the children upset going into the nursery. A very silly decision and one that should be thrown out. Good luck
