Having worked at this nursery for 10 years I can honestly say I am shocked!
My son attended here from 7months until he turned 3, this was the best experience for him and now into his second term at school he's doing amazingly well! He still talks about his time here too!!
KEEP JUNGLE CATS OPEN!

This is a outstanding nursery with dedicated staff. Its outstanding status should be a huge credit to the college and to close it just to add 2 extra classrooms is just wrong. There are other areas that could be used within the college so why do parents, children and staff have to suffer just for 2 classrooms. The nursery is something they should be extremely proud of, not something they should even consider shutting down, not when it has been rated outstanding by offstead. They are prepared to disrupt young children and all the staff and parents of the children for a very small gain and it's wrong and unnecessary.

Don't close nursery it is a lovely nursery and needed for parents if they decide to study at the college there also isn't enough space in other nuseries near by so could effect parents being able to carry on working there normal hours if they can't find a nursery

Why, why, why, would they want to close a very good nursery that helps adults able to attend the college, if it's because of the space, then use the rooms that are not being used as there have always been empty rooms whenever I've been there, Jungle Cats is just what Southend needs,a good, caring, learning place for children !!
