Considering there is many an empty classroom on the ground floor when I take my children to and from Jungle Cats, I find the decision to close nursery for extra teaching space highlights the fact the college is poorly managed. The is decision to close a jungle cats is a farce and appears to be fuelled by money. Close the a nursery that Ofsted have rated as outstanding is nothing short of destroying the future of this town. Congratulations. The decision makers won't be here in 10 years, the effects of their diabolical management skills will be.

What about the numerous empty classrooms on a Friday afternoon? Surely more creative solutions can be found. The college is growing all the time, which space is next? The canteen? Is it not a good opportunity to look at another site?
Also consider creative temporary spaces that can be built in the atrium. Get students and staff involved in finding a solution! There are so many creative untapped minds in this college!!!

Have all options been looked into?? Are all the other class rooms fully utilized and managed correctly? Very dissapontting if the nursery should close if another way to keep it open can be found.

This will undoubtedly cause problems for numerous staff (as well as the public) as it is valuable and close to hand resource. Another questionable decision buy the college!

Jungle cats is a needed resource, to staff at the college. A lot of people's lives will be made exponentially more difficult with this decision, with the aim of gaining a very small amount of teaching space. The cost of converting this area would be many thousands.

This would be a real shame and a struggle for parents who have got there children settled in a happy and caring nursery shame on you for even thinking of closing it as these children are your next generation to go to college !

The decision to close Jungle Cats seems to me to be very shortsighted. I am sure that the staff and students who have already benefited from using it would agree. I urge the college to rethink their decision so that Jungle Cats continues to be available for future staff and students.

It is sad to read such a successful nursery may close. Surely the care and education of little ones should be seen just as important. The nursery is a great offering to the community enabling parents to either work and/or study. There must be alternative options to consider in order to find the space required.

I found this nursery very helpful when attending college some years ago and the staff were excellent and my son was very happy at the nursery. It would a shame for future students and staff not to have the nursery on offer.

An outstanding nursery with outstanding staff. To close it is despicable! The space used by the nursery would not provide suitable teaching space. Keep this wonderful service for staff and students and keep the staff who are a credit to the college. My son attended the nursery from 3 months old until he started school nursery - it helped turn him in to the lovely young man he now is! Keep Jungle Cats open.

I can't believe u are closing this valuable nursery ... This nursery needs to stay open for the children and the parents .. Who really need this so they can attend the collage ..
