History is important. Jim's has been a member of the community for over 80 years. They deserve some resect. I will boycott Duane Reade if they force the closing of Jims.

Please don't shut the doors on a family run business that has been going for 70 years. Where else are people going to get their shoes repaired?

I love Jim's shoe repair. I have been going there for years and they have fixed the most difficult shoes and belts for me and have done a beautiful job with a can-do attitude and very reasonable cost. They are very honest! They ARE the BEST in the city. I would hate for a greedy company such as Duane Reade to take it over and destroy a part of New York's history especially a family owned business that has been there forever! What a crime...it wouldn't be the same if they move.
