I have a successful wedding catering company on the East end catering over 25-30 full scale weddings every season on the North Fork alone. While JHI is technically a competitor of ours, I think it's disgusting that an operation of this caliber is being restricted when 20 other venues/ caterers are rocking weddings until midnight throughout the entire north fork. Just not fair!! This stinks of a witchunt against JHI (a gem of an operation- arguably the absolute best on the north fork) and whoever is responsible will ultimately be exposed for their maliciousness and hopefully held liable for the damages they have caused this exceptional place! We must save Hawkins Inn!! I am a Jameport resident and our community truly benefits from the beauty and delicious contributions it makes to the neighborhood. It would be a true loss if such a gem was forced to close due to zoning issues. We must save it!!!

I truly enjoy our visits to Jedeiah Hawkins each and every time. Aside from the wonderful gastronomical experiences, the surroundings that instill a feeling of tranquiry within its historical edifice calls us back again. Such a lovely compound.

Jedediah Hawkins Inn is a magical place, near and dear to my heart, as my husband and I had our wedding there in September of 2011. It is beautifully and tastefully restored, and deserves to continue to allow it's beauty to be enjoyed for years to come.
