9 years ago, my bridal shower was held at Jedediah Hawkins. It was a beautiful event. I absolutely love that a space like this is available on the North Fork. From what I've seen, all of the events here are done with respect for the community. Good luck in this initiative. You have my support!!

Why fight a place so good for the local economy. JHI employes local staff year round, utilizes local services and purveyors, why would anyone threaten their livelihood and that of all their employees and the business and services they provide? ZBA, stop hanging on the complaints of the overly vocalized few that clearly have a chip on their shoulder and listen to the masses and utilize common sense, there is nothing gained by losing this place!

I had never been to Jamesport before I dined last year at the Inn. I plan on returning this
Summer and explore the shops in Jamesport. If it weren't for the Inn, I never would have known how lovely Jamesport is and would spend my time shopping elsewhere. I'm sure I am not the only one that feels this way. The Inn boosts the economy for Jamesport and should be welcomed by the zoning board.

This elegant facility is a jewel and a benefit to your community. The house itself is historic and well preserved as are the grounds. The restaurant insures a steady flow of tourists to your community and the Jedediah Hawkins Inn aquits itself well and represents your town with respect and class. The Jedediah Hawkins Inn should be encouraged and commended, not curtailed. JML
