Hi,
You have my full support and I wish you well ......
I was lucky enough to attend a wedding at your beautiful location last September!
I hope that for many years to come, others will be as fortunate as I was to truly enjoy both your hospitality and the stunning location.
Good luck and best wishes from; Malta, Europe.

Small group of people should be stopped for trying to destroy a small business which helps all community and attracts visitors from other places. We came to the friend's wedding, we rented a next door hotel, bought things in the local stores.

Dear Zoning Board of Appeals
I held an event last September at the Jedediah Hawkins Inn and want to express to you what a valuable asset this place is to the community. Not only because it is a beautiful estate with a great historic main building, barn and gardens etc.. but because they offer exactly what people in the community are looking for and need. During the entire process of panning the event and during the actual event itself the management team was so professional and constantly aware of their neighbors to make sure that our event did not distribute anyone located near the property. In addition, I am sure our event generated a significant amount of revenue for the community. We hired a local florist to provide flowers, our guest rented over 20 rooms in local bed and breakfast lodging, we used a local hair solon , our guest had breakfast/lunch and shopped at local business etc… Jededaih’s Hawkins Inn is one of the most valuable assets to the community in the north fork and the management team goes above and beyond to make sure their business does not disturb local residence. To keep the quality of the property, food and overall experience of the estate it would be wrong to deny them the ability to generate revenue from RESPONSIBLE outside events. Is would also be irresponsible to deny the other local business from the overflow of business they receive.

This Inn is a gem on the North Fork. It is responsibly run and would be a great loss to the area not to be allowed to continue to thrive.

JD is truly a magical place. To not allow this beautiful inn to continue as it is, would be such a tragedy. The Inn is the reason we continue to return to this area.

This is one of the finest buildings in historic Jamesport. If anyone remembers, it was a dilapidated eyesore. I commend the owners for their diligence , determination and vision. The restoration of this beautiful structure preserves our maritime history for generations to come. All I can say is THANK YOU!!!! Allowing the Inn to be an introduction to The North Fork in all of the right ways only benefits property owners in the surrounding area. I hope the board allows this fine establishment to prosper and succeed.

I live in a village that allows huge events without regard of a 9:30 ending time nor noise levels. This inn is a beautifully restored treasure! 4 outdoor events to keep the cash flow positive is not too much to ask.

Keep the Inn. It's a beautiful landmark that should be allowed to host events that observe the ZBA rules.

Seems to me that the requirements of the Inn are reasonable, and that the objections are being made disingenuously. I sincerely hope that the people who are attempting to impose further limitations on the Inn will be stopped.
