I would ask that yo consider extending the 5 weeks notice period to allow the lady concerned to secure suitable accommodation that will allow her much loved pet to continue to be a part of her life. This is going to be extremely distressing to both owner and pet

Please reconsider this. This lady loves her dog and owning a dog is so good for your health, it lowers your blood pressure. It will break her heart to lose her beloved pet and friend.

This tiny dog does not only bring comfort to the owner but in community accommodation to all who live there. Most sheltered accommodation allows for one small dog/cat for the lifetime of that animal and then not to be replaced, would be a lovely gesture especially at Christmas time for your association to permit the same. Policy's can be changed but lives already drastically changed by rehoming are not happy lives. Come on folks change your ruling and allow these people the comfort that a tiny inoffensive dog can give them, unconditional love.

I know I have already signed this and commented on it but I personally think jasper is a lovely dog and has a great personality. I think it is pathetic that Julie has been told she has to get rid of the little boy within 5 weeks, when that little boy is her main priority and if he goes she will be heart broken because he is the only company she mainly gets. I wouldnt mind but this little dog hasn't harmed anyone or anything and would never ever harm anyone or anything. I love this dog to bits and he needs to be saved and kept save in Julie's arms.
