I feel that this rodeo should be allowed to continue. They are hard working people & I am sure if you checked you would find people from the camp ground either are there for the rodeo or would attend when they find it is on. Also it sounds like it is not breaking any noise bylaws.

I was in Jasper some years ago and we lived the rodeo, we thought it was a key part of our experience there together with the beautiful surroundings. I could imagine Jasper without a trademark event such as the rodeo. History cannot be denied

I fully support the Jasper Heritage Rodeo for the people that have worked so hard to preserve our heritage and provide entertainment for the local people and all your tourists. I don't think some people understand what kind of man hours and planning it demands of all the volunteers in order to put on a rodeo of this magnitude.

We need to preserve our Western Heritage in Alberta ...How does one person have the power to wipe out nearly a century of rodeo history?
There’s thousands of tourists around the world that this was their highlight of their trip to Jasper.
Heritage rodeo is western heritage...celebrating our heritage must continue.

Personally, I find it very distressing that with the stroke of a pen, one person has the power to wipe out nearly a century of rodeo history in Jasper. What's next? Will horses be banned from the Park? Why does one person have this much power? Shouldn't something this momentous at least be put to a public forum? I am tired of people who say they are "fighting for the rights of all cultures" - except for Western culture. For decades now, Western Culture has been under constant attack - we as a people need to stand up for our culture and end this harassment.
