Preserving our western heritage is preserving our history! Let’s not let these people who have work so hard, for so little, down. Volunteers are hard to come by and the people at Jasper Heritage Rodeo have devoted their lives to maintaining this important tradition!

I do not understand how shutting down an event that brings dollars into the community and is an attraction in itself is a good idea. Keep the rodeo!

Jasper Heritage Rodeo was always a highlight of my season while I was a competitor. I always loved how enthusiastic large the crowd was, it made it very exciting to compete. What a wonderful gift we can share with people from all over the world when they come to Jasper in August. Please continue to have this great event.

This rodeo has always been a fan favourite. I’ve read the letter Jasper received and I find it shocking that the person who signed it is so far out of touch with reality. Rodeo is very much a part of our Western Canadian Culture and heritage. How dare you not recognize that and further have so... little respect for this our Western lifestyle.
