Please save this traditional event. It's a huge part the areas heritage!

Why would we stop allowing a fun family event that has been going on for almost 100 years.

Jasper is the one rodeo i travel and bring my kids to every year. It would be a shame to lose it.

I believe the rodeo is a great demonstration of Canadian and western history. We need to preserve this tradition for all Canadians and tourists to enjoy.

As someone who is a former committee member and continue to serve as a volunteer of this rodeo, I (and other members) have visited with Park Visitors from around the world whose only opportunity to see a rodeo live and up close (often an opportunity not even considered prior to visiting the Park and only by the chance of having been visiting the Park while the rodeo was on. And more recently only because they were staying at Whistler Campground) was when they visited JNP during rodeo time. Many tourists have been exposed to and thrilled by a uniquely western, North American sport and heritage event. And to cancel this event will deny this opportunity to Park guests. Think back to times when you were on vacation and happened upon a local festival or event that you would never had had the chance to see, nor even thought about going to. This is what the Jasper Heritage Rodeo provides to up to over 3,000 people a year.
As well, local groups and clubs financially benefit from this rodeo.
Please, Parks Canada, reconsider the opportunity to allow this event to continue as it is. Thank you.

Don't let the wishes and wants of one mans aggenda ruin 92 years of tradition!!! The park and rodeo were around long before his twisted agenda and will be around long after... save our rodeo!!!

Keeping our western heritage through rodeo is essential. Jasper is a wonderful rodeo in a unique environment appealing to many across all lifestyles.
This rodeo and festival celebrating our heritage must continue.

To cancel an event such as this would be a huge mistake and for such silly reasons!
We need to keep the heritage alive.
