I have always found it delightful that this lovely kitty was at the store to greet me. It makes the store feel more like a family-run, local business and less like a large, anonymous chain.

This is pathetic. One person can have such a negative effect. This cat gives the store a heart. Calming influence in a potentially hectic shopping day. Ingnore this complaint and let the majority rule the issue.

I love the cats at Home Hardware. I look forward to giving them a friendly pat and scratch every visit. How could anyone object to their presence?! And I'm sure they keep the field mice - which even invaded our nearby apartment building - under control.
