We have no TB yet (until someone brings it in in cattle probably) so badgers should not be made the scapegots. Pleas vaccinate our badgers to keep them safe.

badgers have given me so much pleasure over the past 27 years - they are not the ones that travel long distances so how can they spread the disease?

the cull is totally wrong and not even properly thought out, where badgers are moved on, in areas where Tb is prevalent, it will only result in spreading it more. And who is to say that badgers without TB will not pick it up from pastures where infected cattle are grazing, sure the infection must move not only from badgers to cattle, but also cattle to previously uninfected badgers.

Culling badgers will not have the result that the farmers and the Government want. The only effective way to control bTB is to vaccinate badgers. I would like to see the IOW Council take a positive stance to protect badgers by vaccinating all badgers on its land in line with the actions taken by the Wildlife Trusts.

If they start a cull on the island I will be out sabbing every night. Our badger and wild life are sacred and should be respected nit murdered!

I too believe the cull is inhumane and will have no meaningful result; even if all badgers were killed I cannot believe all bTB would be eradicated; do we really want to a whole species to disappear?
