I come from Guernsey. One year the Dairy farms all suffered a bad outbreak of TB. There are NO BADGERS in Guernsey!

The badger is being used as a scapegoat, blaming it for the spread of TB, despite any credible evidence. Poor animal husbandry needs addressing not the killing of badgers

How can we possibly have any idea of the population size of an animal that lives underground and only comes out at night?

As a Professor of biochemistry, I support the view of the scientists that a badge cull is not required and I would support vaccination.

Our previous house in West Sussex had two badger colonies within 40 feet of our lounge and I cared for and fed them all. They are lovely creatures.

There are many respected people and groups (RSPB and RSPCA and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust) against the cull, saying that the science of culling will not be effective.

No badgers should be slaughtered on the Island, and the already available injectable badger vaccine against bTB should be used in all cases.

I am in Bristol, we have experienced this in the West Country, Attend every protest and spread the word far and wide, link up with other groups that are experienced at patroling ,checking setts etc. Hunt Sab, groups have a lot of expertise. Keep writing Parliament. MPs. I am sure you all are. Best Regards, remember support your teams on the ground, they are camping out in all weather and need basics and petrol.
