Inkwell is a fantastic asset to not only the community, but Leeds as a whole. I know many people who have greatly benefitted from the services they offer. Taking the garden away from them for yet another block of cheap flats would be a complete travesty and would seriously impede the work that they carry out. This cannot be allowed!

We have to save this green land for the service users of Inkwell Gardens and build the 9 flats elsewhere it would be a sad sad time if the gardens where closed as so much good is done there with all the users and where would the service users go? The council should look elsewhere l do hope something can be done .

The amenity of the gardens I associate with Inkwell centre are invaluable. It would be incredibly shortsighted of Leeds City councillors to limit the benefits to everyone in the area and who come to support the activities of all many volunteers. The gardens are place of refuge, the give something of nature back to everyone to enjoy and cosy nothing to maintain. Please protect this space and refuse this and any development from taking place.

The placement of houses in the green bowling area behind Inkwell would be intrusive beyond description. The houses around being overlooked, the loss of space and the intrusion of vehicles with their accompanying noise and pollution would be intolerable. The bowling green which has been there for years would a great loss to the local people let alone to the present use of community garden for all the local groups who use it.
