This garden helps so many more people than some flats would ever do. We live in a city where every inch of green space should be treasured because there's not much of it left, and in practical terms the homes surrounding the garden will surely lose light once a tower is placed in front of them, and I honestly can't see it having a positive impact on local property value either.

I began visiting inkwell in the summer of this year and immediately signed up as a volunteer as the warmth, kindness and support I felt was almost tangibl. Inkwell plays a central part of my recovery without which I am absolutely convinced that I wouldn't be here now. So please help us to save this extremely important lifeline.....

I hope that the planning committee of Leeds City Council considers their decision on this matter with extreme care and caution. A decision to build on the land cannot be revoked for future generations. I do not believe this proposal to be consistent with sustainable development; I feel that it will destroy social, environmental and economic value and be a detriment to the economic, social and environmental well-being of the local community and wider Leeds community. The Council has the powers to promote the well-being of the local area. Furthermore, this planning application would not even meet a lower bar of helping make Leeds the best city to live in by 2030. The full list of my objections will be submitted to the Leeds City Council website. Good luck as you make your decision!

Inkwell Gardens is a very valuable resource for people with mental health problems and provides a therapeutic space for them at a time when local service provision is being cut back. I believe that it would be short sighted to build on this garden and lose the small but effective resource it provides, which is run by voluteers to help people with mental health problems improve their mental health and begin to function again in the wider community.

There is no doubt that this is space has become a valuable resource for the whole community in Leeds and especially those with mental health issues. So how can a developer just come in and take away such an valuable asset. We need to look at how inkwell acquired this site, what is the cost to them? And what is the agreement with the owner?
What attempts and offers, if any, have been made to keep this site?
Please can some one look in to these issue's.
