This is one of the only places in the City that people can affordably play tennis. It is places like Sutton East that make Manhattan what it is, a diverse community with access to almost anything for its citizens. Closing it will forever change the City in a negative way.

Why does the Parks Department want to close this facility? Let the real truth be told! What will be there if not the tennis courts?

As a Doctor at NYP I can testify to the many benefits and strengths of having Sutton Tennis open and functioning. My cell is 646 209 5211 if you need to speak to me.

The only affordable and convenient place in manhattan to learn and play tennis recreationally.

The tennis bubble under the 59th st bridge provides an affordable and great place for children to learn this great game. At a time when politicians pay lip service to protecting children's well being while building dangerous garbage dumps around recreation centers, the least we can do is keep what we already have, including Sutton tennis.

Please do not close the Sutton East Tennis Club. Trying to play tennis in NYC is already extremely challenging and Sutton East, with all of its clinics for all ages, is a fantastic resource. I commute 1 hour from Brooklyn to play here - because this tennis facility is THAT good!

With so little space in NYC for physical activity and Sutton Place being a great multi-use location. Softball in the Summer / Tennis in the winter, tucked under a bridge. The thought of loosing a great space is a crime. Please continue to fund Sutton Place m.

Please keep it - it's a wonderful place in this big city to enjoy tennis. It's just like a park to us you need it to make the city complete.

Please do not shut this facility down. I actively use it and don't have any other options in my neighborhood.

Tennis facilities are already few and far between in New York. This would be a terrible move and ought seriously be reconsidered.

Please do not close Sutton East. It is a great resource for the community, especially during the winter months. Tennis helps kids and parents and neighbors keep fit.

Keep indoor tennis under the bridge in Manhattan open!! There is already a scarcity of publicly-available tennis options in NYC. Please don't make tennnis even more scarce!

I love this Tennis club so much and I feel it would be a shame to see it go. Manhattan needs as many indoor courts as possible!!!
