Please don't close these tennis courts! As a senior I need to work out and my fixed income does not allow me pay for a gym. There are families using them, it is a diverse crowd. Please do not close

Please keep these courts OPEN so that American tennis has a future and Americans keep playing tennis throughout their lives.
Thank you in advance for your positive response.

Would be a shame to close this down, and for what? Another outdoor baseball field that will be used for only a few months a year?

Tennis is a great sport for all ages - the children there are being trained in a non contact ( football, concussions) activity that can provide life long fitness habits in a society plagued with childhood obesity. The elderly also participate in tennis in Manhattan where they are able to exercise in a way that maintains core strength and flexibility, as well as cognitive function. Manhattan has too few courts as it is, and this loss of services these courts provide would have a negative impact on the overall health of the community. There are more reasons to keep these courts, but the basic community health and life services they provide are a good place to start.

Dear Parks Department,
Please keep this facility open. I found this the most affordable of the winter tennis facilities.
Best wishes,
Jason Primm

To take one of the few tens facilities away from our children & adults would be a crime. Please don't close it.

This is a staple of the community and a place for people of all ages to be active and learn a fantastic sport. There are not enough facilities like this in NYC or on the UES.
Please keep Sutton east tennis open!
