Midtown East Manhattan has few athletic venues - please leave our tennis club open!!

This is one of the only affordable and convenient tennis parks in Manhattan. This must be allowed to stay open

Writing to fight for keeping Sutton east indoor tennis facility open. This is one of the few facilities left in the city where many New Yorkers take lessons and play

I support indoor tennis underneath the Queensboro Bridge. There are not a lot of places in New York where people can play tennis, especially in the winter. We should keep our limited option alive. Please do not close down the indoor tennis court under Queensboro Bridge.

Please keep a these wonderful courts open. They are unique in the city and are always busy, every day and every evening, which would not be the case for softball diamonds (based on my experience viewing several such diamonds in the East Village, West Village, Upper East Side, etc. etc.)

This game promotes and develops intelligence, civility and athletics. It keeps people in shape for a lifetime. Almost NO other sport can make this overall claim. Replace these with a bunch of softball diamonds and, well, beer drinkin' fatties need something to do too I suppose...

Please do not close the Sutton East Tennis Courts. They are vital part of the neighborhood for me and fellow players for years. New York is home to the US Open. We have to maintain a healthy tennis community as tennis is huge boost for economy during the US Open. It will take years to build this back if you make the tragic mistake to close the courts. The courts should be there year round. To close all together is crippling to sports in midtown. Please reconsider. All of the pros and staff will loose their jobs. Keep the courts open.
