Please keep it open. Actually they should. Ever closed the other courts as the prices keep rising and before you know it no one will be playing tennis as it will be too expensive. It's important to have the option in nyc. The courts in Central Park can't accommodate everyone all year round.

Sutton East Tennis Club serves as a place for so many city children to learn and enjoy playing tennis. WHY is this location being removed. It is part of the fabric of the community. It's just illogical that one of the remaining indoor tennis facilities are being closed. WHY! Please do not deprive the community of this facility.

It is a rare gem to have open athletic space in the city. My five year old should have the opportunity to enjoy these courts. Let's not lose this precious commodity.

please allow this tennis facility to continue. There are so few available in Manhattan. I cant believe over the winter the area could possibly be put to better use.

Sutton East Tennis provides an important public service through community-oriented, group-focused sport and recreation opportunities at a reasonable, accessible price. At a time when Manhattan is flooded with high-priced, inaccessible amenities for the affluent, there are very few options for regular locals to engage in fun, organized, community-oriented recreation, where we can get to know our neighbors by using public facilities and keeping fit at the same time.

Our school utilizes this amazing facility and we need it. The girls would not have any other option to learn this amazing game. Please save!

I have been playing tennis across various NYC tennis courts since the 1990s. Access to tennis courts is a wonderful and special activity for children and adults alike. The atmosphere and positive attitude at the Queensboro Bridge - Sutton East Tennis Club is appreciated by all players. I have enjoyed playing at those courts, and playing with friendly tennis players happy to have court access. Please save these tennis courts!

We need Sutton tennis in East midtown as there are very few tennis courts left in Manhattan. Also, it is great for young kids to be able to learn to play in the fall, winter and spring before summer comes.

This is a valuable resource that adds to the quality of life of this Upper Eastside community- removing it would negatively impact these families.

As a young professional in the City, tennis is a way to meet new people and continue playing a sport that makes up who I am. As we all know, it is nearly impossible to find good indoor tennis at a good price in Manhattan. Sutton East was the lone bright spot. It would be a shame to take a few more rental dollars instead of promoting a social good.
