Save these courts...Just another example of hard working middle class New Yorkers being squeezed and abandoned in their pursuits of happiness and dignity....save these courts....take a stand

This facility has been a successful fixture for many families to have a meaningful , clean , recreational experience. Taking it away and turning it into anything other that what it is would’ve disastrous . A park open under a bridge? Ridiculous !!

I have lived in this city for over twenty years having moved here from Toronto. Still a marvelous city, it has grown more congested and claustrophobic with more and more high rises and big buildings. Manhattan needs more designated areas for the quality of life for its growing number of inhabitants. This is an environmental, social and mental health concern and more. Please save this community resource!

Sutton East provides an affordable place for everyone to play - no annual membership, no elite acceptance policy that is gender based - and offers countless hours of free and discounted time to schools, organizations, and kids in need for whom tennis can open opportunities. Do not shut Sutton East down.

My sons all play tennis here, and it is an important part of our community. We value this space to keep our children active. Please, keep this facility open.

With so few accessible tennis courts in the city, it would be a shame to lose these courts!
