These courts are invaluable to the community and the future growth and sustainability of tennis (introduce the game to new people)

Please save one of the limited venues for indoor tennis in Manhattan. These courts are valuable to the health and happiness of thousands of New Yorkers.

There is no better use for this piece of land. If you put in a kiddie park before you know it the parents will be saying that the traffic on the bridge overhead is poisoning their kids and they’ll be wanting to move the bridge. At what cost to taxpayers?

These courts must remain under the bridge. The city needs more sports and rec spaces, not less! These courts are vital for tennis players who already have very few remaining courts in the city. What else are you going to do with the space under the bridge anyway? Come on, do the right thing!

This is crazy! This place is an institution and continues to provide social and health benefits to the Manhattan community. What are you thinking!

We need this court!! We don’t have enough courts as it is and there’s always arguments around public courts! Because we have so little ‘free’ public courts, we can never win in nationals!! Such as the USTA league..it’s always taken by Peurto Rico, Hawaii or Florida where they have bunch of courts..

These courts absolutely need to stay. They are the only affordable courts in Manhattan and I cannot imagine life without them. I come across town to play here because they have such good, affordable programs and I could learn to play a new sport as an adult that has helped with my fitness. I urge you to keep these courts forever and actually spend on refurbishing them every year instead of considering other options. The courts are always full which is a clear indication of the popularity and affordability.

Please decide to continue to keep tennis at Sutton East Tennis Club. There are so few opportunities for this wonderful sport in our borough, and it would be a real loss if it were to end. Tennis is a sport for all people, and something that can be played well into old age. Please don't let it end!!
Thank you!

Please don't close our tennis facilities, for older people like me its the only option. Although that can improve the conditions , these courts are essential to our health.

What on earth are they thinking. What else are they going to do with the space. Its under the bridge, it cannot be outdoor park space.
Please keep the courts open.
