Save indoor tennis in Manhattan now before it is too late!!!

Please don’t take away our tennis courts under the bridge!

Please, we need this tennis club to stay in Sutton place. We all play tennis there!

I’ve played here all my life. There is no better use for this dead space under the bridge.

My three sons and I have been playing at Sutton east for 20 years. I have become friends with many of the teaching pros over the years. These pros hail from all over the world including Africa, South America and Europe. It has been a wonderful way for nyc kids to establish relationships with people from all backgrounds from various parts of the world. Tennis is also a wonderful social sport and great fun and exercise for kids and adults of all ages. Discontinuing tennis at Sutton east would be an awful outcome for hundreds of kids and adults and would result in meaningful job loss too. I think it would be the wrong decision and would inspire great animosity toward the city government. I hope you make this decision thinking about everyone it would negatively affect.

These courts provide for so many people that would otherwise be unable to afford to play.

These courts are invaluable!

I love Sutton East! It is a fantastic place to play year-round. Please do not close it.
