The Sutton East Tennis Club is a valuable community center for adults and children in New York City. It is essential tennis players continue to learn and play here.

Please don't take away our tennis courts. Our kids are learning to play tennis there!

Indoor tennis is a healthy activity for children and adults, and a precious resource for city families. This facility should be preserved, nor removed.

Myself and my family are fully supportive of the petition to maintain the facility at Sutton east open. It is a wonderful environment for children and adults and it would be a significant loss if it were to close.

This indoor tennis center is a wonderful space in an area sorely in need of organized sport opportunities for our kids.

The facility is ideal for senior citizens who are attempting to maintain fitness! It is a decided asset to the community and provides a safe environment to vulnerable age groups.

These are the courts that my husband and I play at in the winter every week. We would be incredibly upset if Sutton east was to shut down. We feel absolutely ADAMANT that this IS NOT TO HAPPEN!!!

New York city needs as many tennis courts as possible so taking one away doesn't make any sense. It is critical to the overall quality of life for the community.

I understand you are considering repurposing the space under the Queensborough Bridge. Please know that as a lifelong resident of the UES, I support public indoor tennis in our neighborhood. Please stop squeezing out the public recreation spaces we so treasure. Thank you.
