I am a New Yorker and have been living here for over 27 years. I am also an avid tennis player who loves the game of tennis and enjoy playing year round. I appreciate all the public courts the city has to offer, indoor and outdoor. If these courts are eliminated, it effectively eliminates enjoyment of the game for 6 months out of the year. I urge you not to do this as it provides an outlet to the fall/winter doldrums with a truly beloved activity for so many and adds richness to what this city has to offer - rain or shine, summer or winter.

I have an organized a tennis group that has played at this facility for over 35 years. We currently have 12 players. These courts provide an extremely valuable and important tennis venue for upper east side residents. Many children and adults of all ages use the courts, which are open to all, high quality, expertly managed.. The loss of this tennis facility will deny thousands of New Yorkers access to healthy exercise and community building comradery and pleasure. I urge the City of New York to maintain this tennis facility, which provides such excellent service and important jobs for our citizens.

My boys have played tennis at this facility for 6 years. There are not many options in the area and this gives City kids a place to play and exercise. We need this indoor tennis facility!!

The courts are wonderful - to remove them would end a tennis tradition dear to so many. Thank you for reconsidering - as tennis is a popular activity for all ages!

These courts are an oasis for those of us who want to play tennis at (semi) affordable rates. Whatever you're planning to put in its place, I am sure we don't need it. We have lived without it this long.

Please don't take away tennis courts. What do you gain by depriving us of courts in winter and baseball in summer? What is the point? It's a special enclave in a neighborhood quite devoid of special places. Why? To put up a huge building? We don't need another building. We need a neighbohood reinforcement to keep our area special. .

The use of the indoor tennis facilities at Sutton has been so beneficial to our family. Prices at the John McEnroe tennis center are too expensive. Also Randall's island is not convenient to get to.

I have been playing at Sutton East Tennis Club and I would be very sadden to see it close. There are not enough places to play tennis as it is and this would be a big loss for the neighborhood.

Please keep the courts. Is one of the few spaces we have to develop tennis. Variety of sports is important to maintain NYC quality of life.
Thank you,
