Please don't remove the tennis courts. There are so few sports options for children and adults during winter in Manhattan. Staying active is vital to both body and mind and tennis is a great activity for both boys and girls. We all use the courts under the bridge. They are fabulous. Please DON'T ELIMINATE them.

The tennis courts at Sutton East provide a tremendous facility for children to learn, and develop athletic tennis skills, and senior citizens who come religiously for the love of the game and stay fit. And of course the legions of young and old who come to play, enjoy the game of tennis and improve their skills through the excellent coaching and organization provided the most professional staff. It is ridiculous to consider closing an island of pulsating energy, competition, learning in the most beautiful game of tennis through the cold winter months. Would you rather people wither away at home in video games and alcohol? This entire idea is insane. Protect our treasures.

As an adult, this is where I learned to play tennis. If it weren't for this school and facility, I don't think I would have ever had the opportunity. Keep it open!

Do not close these courts! Children and adults need physical activity. Closing these tennis courts is a terrible terrible idea and puts New Yorkers, young and old, at risk.

Please do not close down indoor tennis. With everything else in the world going on we need our indoor tennis to help us get through the day.

Jacob Javits was a regular player at the courts under the Queensboro Bridge. Many, many others have learned, grown and become accomplished players on these courts. Open spaces in winter in the city go unused so why not keep a cherished tennis facility that so many New Yorkers use? Please keep this facility for current and future tennis players.

Please DO NOT close this tennis bubble. There are so few places to play in Manhattan as it is. My family and I really enjoy being able to play, especially during the cold winter months. I implore you to keep the tennis bubble. Thank you!

why in the world would you remove tennis in the city? That area is a dead zone otherwise and at night- there should be more to do not less. Many more people play tennis than play softball- more often. CP tennis can be inaccessible and impossible to get to.

Plwying tennis at Sutton Tennis has given me a renewed energy in my older years not only by the game. but most especially by the camaraderie that I have happily found with the other players. We hope that we can preserve our tennis place as there is truly a dearth of tennis places in our city especially in the winter time.

These facilities make New York special - we need to keep them open for the children who grow up here and introduce this fantastic sport to future generations

Please keep these courts! There are already too few courts in Manhattan. This would be a huge loss.
