Please please do not take away the courts under the queens borough bridge. (Sutton east) this is a valuable resource to our children and family. We love playing there

It is the only public place to play in the neighborhood. Please don't take Sutton east away as it helps us stay fit and improve our games in the off season while the park courts are closed.

Dear Parks Department, I have been playing tennis at Sutton East Tennis Club for over 20 years. It has always been well managed and well maintained. It is easily accessible to residents of the Upper East Side. I paly on Friday nights with an adult group of recreational tennis players, If Sutton closes, that's the end of our game. There is no other place to go where we can have a regular game at an affordable price in our neighborhood. I believe the Parks Department should be promoting every fitness opportunity they can.Sutton reaches a diverse group and provides fitness for kids up to and including seniors. How many other places in NYC do that. Please keep Sutton East Tennis Club. Thank you very much for your consideration. Sincerely, Richard Foody

My children were first introduced to tennis at this facility at 3 years of age, and it is their favorite after school activity. I can't imagine having to end their enjoyment and learning if the tennis bubble under the bridge would close.

As a young student in Manhattan, it was always hard to find an accessible, relatively affordable place to play tennis; these courts were that place! Please don't remove them.

This is a club that draws many locals to an indoor center they are comfortable with outside the summer season. Sutton East has a long history with its patrons, where the intersection of teacher and player result in an all encompassing experience for both. With the limited space for tennis in New York, Sutton has served as a landmark center for the last four decades and continue to do so if given the chance.

We need these courts! There are so few places to play in Manhattan. Sutton's clinics are one of the only affordable options in the city!

It's essential to our east side community to keep these indoor tennis courts! Otherwise there will be no more courts to play tennis during the winter times! Kids and adults of all ages enjoy these courts so please don't take this away from our community!

My wife and I frequently play tennis together on these courts and would greatly miss them if closed

Please save Sutton East Tennis! The east side won't be the same without it. Where would we play if the bubble were permanently closed? The options are limited as it is.

These courts serve an important need for the tennis community in Manhattan. They allow those of us who do not belong to private clubs to continue practicing the sport we love during periods when the weather does not allow for outdoor tennis. Please do not close them.

Tennis is a vital sport and there are inadequate and Sellitti's in Manhattan particularly on the Eastside. Not everybody can afford to go over to Randall's Island

Tennis should continue to be taught and played under the 59th bridge through Sutton East Tennis. My 14 year old has taken lessons there since he was 3 years old. Thank you.

Don't take tennis out of the city. There are so few places for our families to play, and we are thankful for "the bubble."
