BS decision, as per usual for houghton college. The idea that E-sports and disc golf will bring in more money than the lacrosse program is unadulterated garbage (because we all know that the decision was made based off of money).

Both of my parents went to Houghton college and now I have a friend at Gordon who’s friend is going to Houghton and he would love it if lacrosse remained a part of his life there.

I believe that the games reward in life is much more than any financial reward. “The Creators Game” is something precious for everyone to hold on to. All sports have value, but the game of Lacrosse is a gift from above. Lacrosse is something that teaches us about life and connectivity. Many time our game is overlooked for more socially accepted sports, but lacrosse is at home in this region. The game can be so thing that is a catalyst for all people through education.
I would hope that you keep the program, and the values of all aspects of the game are educated to many. I am proud you have “The Creators Game”, and know that it should not be passed over. Our game has the values of life, connectivity, and unity all rolled into one. Please keep lacrosse at your institute as it keeps us all connected with each other and “The Creator”.
