I didn't go to the College or play against them but my best friend was on the first team and a pioneer for Lacrosse at Houghton. I'd hate to see what would happen to him if the team he helped make crumbled.

Definitely think that no sport should be shut down specialty since they work super hard to get there and for them to compete.

Even though I was not a lactose athlete, I had a lot of friends who were. We should be supporting all of our programs equally.

The Houghton Lacrosse Programs should be saved. The Lacrosse Program is not just a sport that shows off skills of players and teaches new skills, it also has brought people together like family and long term friendships. Removing this program would be devastating to not only the players and incoming new players, but their families who have watched someone go through the wonderful college, but the Lacrosse Programs itself.

My nephew plays lacrosse at your school. Shame on you for cutting this program without giving the teams a chance to help themselves. I’ve seen some of the games, and these kids have so much heart and are a credit to your school. Disgraceful that you are taking their money and an easy solution for you, instead of helping give these kids some normalcy during these crazy times. SAVE THE LACROSSE PROGRAMS!!!!
