The Council has vacillated about what to do with the Town Hall for years. The community has lost out as a result and its time for action. You have my support

At a recent meeting someone said the town hall has found its natural purpose. Exactly!

There is a constant privatisation and commodification of everything that destroys possibilities for public engagement, public spaces and community development and privatises such key assets. Hornsey Town Hall must be saved and be put into communal control! Hornsey of the people, not Hornsey of the private owners and landlords!

The Town Hall is the hub of this wonderful area Crouch End. It is a really important building for our community and we must make sure it is used to benefit us all.

I've had the privalige of working in this glorious space. It enriches its environs, and would be a real loss to the neighbourhood and London as a whole.

A building for a community. A community for a building. It stood empty for years. Now it's being used creatively, enthusiastically and effectively. Don't change it.

It belongs to all of us not just the speculators, so give it back.

Keep it as a community asset not a savings account for non-resident millionaires.

Hornsey Town Hall is a unique and wonderful local asset. I want to see it transferred into community ownership in order to safeguard community use and access in the long term, rather than being sold off to a private developer.
I would ask Haringey Council to give full Cabinet consideration of Community Asset Transfer of Hornsey Town Hall, as proposed by Hornsey Town Hall Appreciation Society, and delay the OJEU disposal process for 6 months in accordance with Community Right to Bid legislation.

Would like to keep the Town Hall for local community use with some space for local business to operate from.
