The disregard shown by Haringey to Hornsey and Crouch End continues to beggar belief

This year during Crouch End Festival, thousands of Crouch Enders and the wider community demonstrated their interest and support of community use of the Town Hall. This should be the model adopted for proper regeneration by and for the community.

I don't believe the Town Hall should be seen as an asset owned by the Council and dispose of as they wish. I therefore support Hornsey Town Hall Appreciation Society with their recommendation.

It would be a travesty to take this lovely building away from the community now that everyone has fallen back in love with it. Crouch End has really come to life since the town hall has been opened up again. Please consider this bid carefully.

Haringey have got this decision badly wrong. The current process seems doomed to produce a bad result.
