It should be clear to everyone that this building needs to remain an asset for the community. Please do the right thing.

Such a shame this building is largely neglected by the council. It needs to be (allowed to be continuously) used by the local community, as it was meant in its hay day. Its a beautiful building and a landmark for Crouch End.

It's an outrage that our community is not being granted a fair opportunity of 6 months to facilitate a plan to save OUR town hall.

Spaces such as Hornsey Town Hall are essential for the wellbeing of those who live nearby. They are the beating heart of the community and a lifeline for people who are socially isolated. Hornsey Town Hall needs to remain in community hands so that its future is safeguarded for all who, like me, live close to it. Don't let developers destroy such an important human resource for short-term gain.

Hornsey Town Hall should be a listed building since it has been an iconic landmark of Crouch End for years! Nobody should touch it.

I believe that Hornsey Town Hall should remain in the public domain and be available for community use. It could be a hub for the community being so centrally sited. There is a paucity of imagination in allowing it to be sold off and become yet another housing development that does not fulfil local need.

Hornsey Town Hall is an iconic building that was built for (and paid by) local residents. Haringey Council need to recognise that they are guardians of the Town Hall, and it is their responsibility to ensure it's future as part of the local community, not view it as an asset that can be sold.

The past year or so, since the Town Hall has been under temporary community ownership, has demonstrated what fantastic potential it has as a community venue.

Don't rip out the cultural heart of the local community by turning this great building into flats.

Hornsey Town Hall and square are at the very heart of Crouch End and we need to keep this treasure for the people now and the future - uncommercialised and serving the community.

This building belongs to this community.
We want to see it brought back to its central position as a focus for the local community (again).
It has such potential.

Hornsby town hall is a unique and important community asset that belongs to the whole community. The council must not go against the wishes of local people and sell it off purely for profit.

HTH is the heart of our community. It was closed and dead for too many years. In recent months it has started to come alive again. It has been truly amazing to see that heart beating again and this beautiful building being enjoyed by so many people.
