I've been to a number of excellent events at the town hall in the last few months. I would very much like it to continue in its present use.

Hornsey Town Hall is a unique and wonderful local asset that must be transferred into community ownership!

It is essential that the future of the town hall and the green is kept in the hands of the community. It is a wonderful building and is a fantastic asset to the area and should available to the local people. So much can happen there for the benefit of all of us, and its future must be caefully planned and guaranteed.

Having lived in this area since 1970 I regard the town hall as a unique local asset. It would be a dreadful act of vandalism were it to be sold to a private developer. I hope the Council halts the disposal process and consults with local people to find the way to safeguard this building.

This space is of HUGE value to the local people - I can't believe this development is being considered

The green should stay as it is - an open space for people to enjoy. The Town Hall architecture (external and internal) s a landmark (as much as the clocktower) and should be open for community use.

This building should be protected as an example of elegant deco architecture. The square and green space I front is used by local residents and their children. There are mature trees which must be protected. The fountain should be restored for local people to enjoy. This elegant building must be saved and the open green space which is so precious in this busy urban area.

It would be a travesty to lose this space to private developers. It is a vital community asset that must be preserved for generations to come.

The town hall should be used to aid the local community and not to allow developers to profit from it

This is an important community asset and the green is a very much needed spacious and tranquil part of Crouch End which is becoming increasingly dominated by traffic.

The only way it could be sold is with safeguards that it can't be built upon. The area needs investment, but is a previous green space at the heart of our thriving community.

The green must stay a community asset I feel. It has been a community asset since before haringey council was formed!

The recent activity in Hornsey Town Hall has brought back some vibrancy into Crouch End. Crouch End is in danger of becoming bland if maximum profit continues to be the thinking behind important decisions.
Thank you for listening

This is a well loved community building and green square. It should be kept in public ownership.

This building and green space are at the heart of the community. They are an underused asset. The green space is essential as the lung that feeds our happiness and wellbeing here.

I am a long term resident of Crouch End and, since 1987, when I first came here, have been waiting for development for the community of the Town Hall and the main building. To sell it to private contractors would be a betrayal of this community.

At some point the tide of community buildings going into the hands of private developers needs to be halted. I have worked in HTH, a beautiful place that should be preserved in pubic hands.

Please don't sell Crouch End down the river by destroying its geographical .political and cultural heart-it isn't really yours to sell.

I have two words "BIG SOCIETY". These words are not mine but David Cameron's and mean communities, neighbourhoods, local groups (including local businesses, charities and people living in the area...) being empowered to have a say and make a difference to and in the communities they live and work. Viva BIG SOCIETY.
