What made the recent Crouch End Festival so wonderful was the inclusion of the Town Hall. Instead of it being this closed monolith everyone walks by it was a huge part of the event because its doors were open and it was being used. The team managing it and the people of Crouch End are passionate about this building. PLEASE don't sell it off for housing. There are enough houses in Crouch End. This building is a beautiful COMMMUNITY space. Invest in it. Invest in your community. Please find the money from elsewhere

Listen to the people - they pay your salaries with their taxes so have every right to a fair hearing.

It would be a huge missed opportunity not to have this wonderful space developed as a community facility.

This modernist masterpiece of Hornsey Town Hall, take time to admire it. It’s been described as ‘the quintessential English modern public building of the decade. It's a must we save it

The Town Hall is far too valuable a community asset too sell off to a private developer for short term gain. The council has wasted it for years. It should be put into the hands of the community as an independent Trust so that the people who live here can ensure its future as a fantastic resource and focus point to help improve community cohesion in the area.

Spent my childhood there. Leave it be. Interesting building. It was closed for years (criminal) and now has some life again. Not everything must be about profit.

Absolutely agree that this building is a valuable community asset. Selling it to developers who will sell on to non dom buyers is not a move with any value in it to Haringey residents. Wake up Haringey Council !

The best thing to have happened to Crouch End since I´ve lived in the area. Have enjoyed plays, concerts, silent discos and their lovely café. Lets not lose this gem!

I have lived in Crouch End for nearly forty years - if the council can't afford it they should give the space to the community to run!
