This building very interesting, this future would gallery or wedding hall or party hall or university poem party or dancing club.

Council property, publicly owned, should remain inclusive to all not exclusively for the few.

Yes of course we must keep this public - more than enough private money-grabbing developments in this area, and H. Council would sell its own grannie if you paid enough.

This town hall was built for the people pf Haringey-keep it that way

The Town Hall is a beautiful building that should be used by the community, a central meeting place for all.

I have lived and worked in crouch end for over 20 years, I would love to see the town hall brought back to its former glory and be used properly by the very creative and versatile residents that make up the crouch end community

Lovely building just right for mainly communal and community use. Please save it for everyone.

The Town Hall should not be subject to asset stripping. It was built using public funds and continues to function as an amenity. The Council have not covered themselves with glory with regard to its maintenance and affordance. The local community can make sense of this building.

The council's past record of letting the town hall fall into disrepair with an intention of selling the land and the hall to a developer has been there for years. It took the Labour MP Barbara Roache to convene a meeting to help stop this with professional input from Hornsey Town Hall supporters. Everything must be done to stop the council's proposal as there are enough qualified people in the area that can ably run it for community use. It should be put in trust for the local comunity and time given to put the package together.

Please don't let this just become another block of flats that no one can afford! We need the town hall to stay in community use, otherwise Crouch End will become just like any other suburb.

Power to the people, power to the locals!

This town hall should not be sold off to a private developer! Along with it's accompanying square, it is a valuable part of Crouch End Broadway as we know it and is a focal point for community events. No one wants to see yet another residential block!

Please allow us to look after and develop HTH as the community asset it is and can be, at the community heart in Crouch End..

It would be a disaster if such a beautiful building were sold off to a private developer , as for sure it would then be converted into offices or the like. Please transfer it to Community ownership. We need to look after our heritage !

Its time to ensure public buildings remain in public ownership. Crouch End needs this type of space for community use and ownership

Haringey Council should act in the best interests of its residents and not for its own interests and convenience.
