We need to save this church. It is a pillar of Southern Minnesota. How can we get creative and make this happen?

This is a vital viable religious community and it deserves preservation. Unlike many congregations this one has always been self-sufficient both financially and through the involvement of its members.

The heritage of my fathers family resides in holy Family, from baptism, to 1st communion, to confirmation, to weddings, and lastly funerals. It would be a terrible disservice to the loyal Catholics of this community to close Holy Family.

It is simply not the right time for this church to be closed. The building and the people who worship in this historic place are a pillar of the community. Please reconsider this decision for the sake of the faithful members and the love of their faith they share with each other.

In Matthew 18:20 Jesus says He is in the gathering of even just a few of His followers. Although not a large congregation, Holy Family sets itself apart from the world as a community of faith in which Christ is honored. It is an asset to the area and a blessing to its members. Please keep it open.

As today's reading says, "the scribes [religious leaders] were amazed that uneducated, ordinary men [people] are speaking boldly." (Acts 4:13) Yet that is always how God speaks.
