Demolishing old buildings for a parking lot for a 500 member church (500 members in Hico? Sounds like a lie) is pretty BS. There needs to be a better reason than that.

This is a great project. We live in and historic District and fully support efforts to maintain our history and culture.

Don't tear down the building for another mega church. Build that building somewhere else!

This would be terrible to lose the historical look of Hico. The church is a great idea for maybe the edge of town but, leave the history where it stands.

I think it be refurbished into some very nice place like a nice restaurant bar and venue to have wedding, celebrations. Good old fashioned dancing. Children welcome could have themed nights.

Our historic structures are our history. When razed, we are disrespecting our ancestors. No one will build the type of structures Hico has today as those skills and labor and time that it took to create those buildings do not exist today.

Too much history to destroy. The church can find another site.

I was born and raised in Hico. It would be a shame to remove historical buildings.

I love downtown Hico. Even the old vacant buildings. They add to the positive vibes.
