This is a major step to destroy the historic downtown that is finally trying to revive into something great. The county obviously has money to burn and very little vision.

I'm quite disappointed that the county believes this is a smart move. We've worked hard to bring in new businesses to downtown and create a fun, inviting atmosphere. Please reconsider. Don't ruin our historic downtown.

I think this is very bad situation
to a problem that should have a lot more thought and understanding for what kind of image we want our historic downtown to portray.

Please don't do this! People are trying hard to bring new business and uniqueness to downtown..this is NOT in alignment to that.

It's a cry shame that downtown Fremont was known as Capital of Antiques to shop, eatery places like Carey Cottage. We need more community involvement in keeping stores open and running downtown. Build something in the middle of the corn fields with outhouses for the sex offenders etc. keep them out of Fremont!
