I am not in favor of the expansion and the resulting new congestion and water and pollution impact.

As a concerned citizen, am hoping the new business development is denied; not just for High Point, but the entire water system in NC.

I don't want to drink gasoline - tanks have lots of safeguards but there is no such thing as 100% effective or 0 risk.

Agree that congestion there is unreal even now.. it will become like I40 and Wendover. Plus our water supply is crucial to be kept as clean and viable as can be.

Please do not allow this gas station to be built. I live in Timberlake and the traffic is bad enough in this area as it is. The existing businesses in this corridor do not generate a lot of traffic and are closed in the evening. Quite a contrast to a 24 gas station with all the noise and bright lights at night. Please preserve the appearance of this area of town and the quality of life in what is still considered a residential area. Also, I feel that no gas stations should be allowed this close to our water supply. Thank you.

We do not need or want anything endangering our water.

I live in the Timberlake neighborhood and traffic is heavy enough here without a gas station at this location. Not to mention this would put our water supply in danger!

I am sick over this. Praying someone changes the problem before it is too late.

This development is not needed and comes with too many potential threats.

This intersection was not designed for this type of traffic. I think it would be irresponsible for the City to approve a rezoning of this nature based on the environmental impacts as well as the traffic related impacts. The residents of this area have gone through far too much construction for far too long to only have more redesign that will not work. The amount of accidents in this area will skyrocket from what is already an unprecedented amount.

I lived in this proposed development area for a year and it is shocking that High Point would even consider allowint a gas station move in due to the proximity to Oak Hollow lake ...this entire property drains directly down hill into the lake...Terrible idea just from an environmental standpoint. This is a natural area that has been a buffer for the city watershed and it is not possible to have gas tanks that close to the lake and not have them seep in to the watershed.... Dont let property prospectors benefit by rezoning this property... do the right thing !!
