there is absolutely no reason to change this already amazing school. My youngest son went to Hidden Hills and he loved it and prospered as a student. The teachers that serve & educate your children are the best at their job. Let the people speak and keep the school. A lottery to go to a school is ridiculous. If a charter school is wanted THEN BUILD ONE INDEPENDENT OF A SCHOOL ALREADY ESTABLISHED. !!!!

My niece goes to this school and so did my cousin. Taking this away will mean you also take away thier memories of that school. But not just to them but to all currently or past students that were here.

I met my best friends there... looking back I regret nothing. Now, we're seniors in high school and are very sad to hear this news. Please save our home school!

I have not heard good things about the Charter. Not long ago, they had test scores that were behind. Do they even have to prove themselves as a quality school?

Oceanside Unified wouldn't provide Oxford Academy a school site due to a litany of problems with Oxford's application, including inadequate budgeted start-up costs, overstated enrollment projections, "unreasonable" spending estimates and a likelihood of promoting a "disparate impact" on minorities and poor families. Eventually CUSD a accommodated Oxford by closing down Barcelona Hills. Let's hope this doesn't happen to Hidden Hills!
