Hi, please save this school! My little boy is in the 2nd grade and first time in a public school and now that he hears about this he is emotional about it! He likes that his mommy and baby sister can walk with him daily to school. This is very upsetting to find this out now! I am so glad that I live only 2 blocks away from this school. We recently moved to the neighborhood. This was a big plus for us choosing to live in our new residence. And meeting his teacher, the Principle , and the rest of the school staff we really like!

Please do not close Hidden Hills Elementary School, it is not just a place for learning but instead it is a haven built by the community.
Consider the demographics and the current status of parents who works so hard just to stay in the area and be able to continuosly send their kids to Hidden Hills.

Please save this school! We just enrolled my son here and it's his first time going to a public school. He was home schooled last year and he had anxiety coming to this school but now being his 2nd week into school he loves his classroom. He also likes his teacher a lot with that being said we are new to this community and it's nice being familiar with our neighbors, My son was relieved to see 3 kids in his classroom on his first day from our neighborhood which put him at ease. We walk to school everyday because we only live 2 blocks away. So it would be a hardship and an inconvenience for so many of us if our kids have to be bused somewhere else and away from our community. I was planning to bring my little girl here to kindergarten as well and keep my kids in the same school! Please Save This School! Thank You!

I took my son to mommy and me at Hidden Hills for 3 years. It's a great campus. It's also right next to the middle school for continuity for the students.

We need to keep this school open! The teachers are great and the parents and neighborhood loves the school, and just think how horribly over crowded George White and Crown Valley will be if it closes! Out school district will go down in testing and quality so fast!!

Please don't close Hidden Hills! I went to Hidden Hills 12 years ago, and now my younger brother is a fourth grader there. I received an excellent education there that gave me the necessary foundation to succeed in middle school and high school, as well as get into a good college. It is an excellent neighborhood with a strong community that has only grown throughout the years. Almost everyone walks, and if you replace Hidden Hills with a charter school, you will be guaranteed to have unbearable amounts of traffic on our tiny one lane road.
I agree that Community Roots children deserve a space, but not at the cost of closing an entire school. There has to be another option. CUSD's lack of planning shouldn't adversely affect their students-not just at Hidden Hills, but at any of the other schools they are considering for closure.
My brother was near tears thinking that they were going to take away his school. He loves it there. All his friends are there, and he has always had excellent teachers who care about him and do their best to help him grow. Save Hidden Hills!
