I'm a first-year student at Hidden Hills Elementary my name was on the handball court LOL but yeah I went all five years and I'm a proud member of the community being raised by a single mother and Windridge Apartments and living next to my school, what a wonderful experience and part of my life that was there.
My children (now 24 &22) both went to HH from K-1 thru 5th. We love this school and all its teachers. HH is a community-based school and very important to the neighborhood. If I lived in the district I would have my 1st grader attend. Save Hidden Hills!!!

Is very disappointed to hear such a thing, after what this school have been done during last year's, bringing the support for those who need to increase their skills or just learn new things, instead doing drugs or gun related!!!

Disappointed hearing such disparaging comments from "non Community" Roots Academy at Wednesday's CUSD board meeting regarding our lovely little (BIG) school. Sad and shameful commentary on the part of CRA parents...especially that attorney parent!

Many generations of good students have graduated from this school, do not take away the opportunity from the kids that still studying there.

HHES is surrounded by high-density housing that requires a school for its residents. Closing HHES would cause a hardship to many families who reside within walking distance of the school and do not own a car. The campus hosts vital programs in addition to K-5. The location is farthest from the current site of CRA, there are 2 sites closer: the current site of Wood Canyon and CV, neither of which serves as much high density housing as HHES.

Please look at what you are removing from the community.. There are needs being meet that would not be available should Hidden Hills Elementary be shut down.

I Romel Posada, PT, is absolutely against the charter school system taking over Hidden Hills Elementary School. Charter Schools are discriminatory and biased. They damage the fabric of our country.

Please invest that money into expanding existing charter schools or build better quality publis schools.
