HHS CLASS OF 1956...Please keep the original building..put and keep in good order.so .important to our heritage and community..center of the town..and our hearts..so many needed excellent cultural and educational uses...

The alternative selected is not the best choice on a variety of levels. Please reconsider renovation of the existing primary building and incorporation of same as part of HHS.

Not enough room on combined properties for high school and whatever intentions are for original building. Not safe or practical to combine multipurpose on such a tight plot. If I am not mistaken, the property was transfered from Boyd with understanding of enhancing HHS as it now stands, not delegating it to the far corner along a major highway. If it must be such a disruptive move, it should have been another large campus property, build in the style of the original school, and include an auditorium to accommodate the entire student body. How many, including school board members, attended the senior play last weekend? Speaks volumes.

What would it cost to build a building dedicated to everything technical on the Boyd property and leave HHS for everything non-technical? I think this is a coup planned to get out of the old Rosa Edwards building and move into something "bigger" for those in administration. The buildings on the Boyd property could be altered for use as temporary classrooms and if they built a new structure for "everything technical" and left the original structure there would be very little disruption of the students. My opinion.

I'm third generation at HHS. There are so many traditions and memories in this building. When you walk down the halls you can feel the history. Please save our school so future Bearcats can have this unique experience and be in a place that feels like home.
