I want to be able to go to this school after 8th grade because it's has history in it and also because my siblings have once walked the halls there for I want to also be able to walk the halls of HHS

I was fortunate enough to be apart of this wonderful school, this building is irreplaceable. I believe future students should be given the opportunity to be graces by the same walls, my fellow alumnis and I shared.

Preserving History equates to a fuller understanding of the past. This building is not just mortar and bricks, It nurtured pride and confidence in those who past through its doors.
Why are we a throw away society? Ask the politicians. Some things are WORTH saving. HHS most definitely is.

I hope the commissioners listen to the educators regarding traditions and values. A new faculty only works if it provides for the continuation of both. And the current design for a new school does not provde for a large enough auditorium. It would be better to spend no money on HHS facilities than to destroy a top ranked NC high school. Perhaps the best option is for the commissioners to leave HHS as is and go spend the money on a different faculty need.

This building has served our red and white family throughout the 20th century and deserves to for the remainder of the 21st. It is only fair for our future bearcats.
