Save it!! I love the Structure of Hendersonville High School!! It's like the students and faculty... Solid!! Just look at it!! Beautiful!! Historic! Save it!!

Close the road between HHS & the old Boyd property, as originally planned & add on a 9th grade "tower" like NHHS did & then upgrade where needed in the original building. That school is amazing. I have already lost my school, Edneyville HS. Don't take the next best thing from my son too. The addition could house any grade, really, or 2 grades...add on additional cafeteria space or move the administrative offices from where they are to the new campus addition as well & have more classroom space in the original building. I am good with not having track events at HHS...that football field is perfect & amazing & there isn't a true need to make it bigger. It handles what is needed for our school. Any additional space on the Boyd property could be used for parking or track facilities. The cost of a completely new building is assanine.

A school is not just brick and mortar, yet...the memories and experiences within these walls are priceless. Please allow generations to come to know and love what generations before have experienced and remember.

Class of '65. I toured the school last fall as part of our 50th reunion and felt right at home. I can't imagine Bearcats going to classes anywhere else.

414 4th Ave. Is a great place for HCPS administration. The existing HHS building will better serve future HHS students and the community with additions and an expansion. Please keep the campus in tact for students.
A few years ago a huge celebration was held for the Rosa Edwards building for its 100th anniversary and now you wsnt to sell it to someone who will probably tear it down. This thought saddens me as much as the HHS halls no longer being home to students!

Please keep our beautiful , historic school! Three generations of my family attended HHS! In Europe they renovate and preserve history! There is a better plan, come on Comissioners , HHS is the gateway from the north to our beautiful historic Main Street! (Class of '77)

That building shaped my future. I'm headed to Columbia university for my masters in Nursing--I can honestly say the structure of that auditorium helped to shape my leadership abilities. Keep it! I will forever be disgraced with Henderson County Commisioners if it comes down.
